January 2019 – Our fully integrated baseline change control module allows for programs to standardize and streamline the request, approval and implementation processes. The module allows users to complete change requests, while ensuring compliance with earned value guidelines. Users can add, modify, close or delete packages, adjust dates, EVTs or budgets.
The interface also allows users to document basis of estimates, provide quantifiable backup data (via the Task List) or even attach external files. By virtue of having access to both the cost and schedule data, the BCRs are priced and impacts to the current baseline are assessed immediately on the spot. An automated approval cycle will notify the designated personnel via email when their approvals are needed. Once approved, our MS Project Add-In utility provides a schedule interface to make implementing a BCR into the schedule simpler. The newest feature to our module allows for Business Management to automatically implement the BCR into the Cost Module with the push of a button!
IPM accommodates the use of both system and manual BCRs, with both being tracked on an integrated BCR log. Processed change requests are also easily imported into our Program Log for transactional and report tracking.
